Stages towards the summits

The Val d'Hérens is one of the least frequented valleys in the Valais Alps. Glaciers, high-altitude pastures, arolla pine forests, no pylons, no crowds.
Ibex, chamois, marmots, deer, hares, rock partridges and ptarmigans populate the alpine meadows and ancient forests.
For centuries, our visitors have loved watching the Hérens cows, a distinctive cattle breed known for its fighting spirit.
