In Arolla, in the Val d'Hérens valley in the Swiss canton of Valais, at 2,070 metres altitude. Chemin de la Forêt 6, 1986 Arolla. The last village in the valley, between Verbier and Zermatt.
Is the hotel open all year round?
The hotel is seasonal. It opens for the winter season from mid-December to mid-April, and for the summer season from early June to the end of October.
Can you ski directly from the hotel?
Yes, the Grand Hôtel & Kurhaus has direct ski-in/ski-out access to the Arolla slopes. The hotel is also the ideal base for ski touring and the Haute Route from Chamonix to Zermatt.
